Rascal’s laid-back, affectionate but playful personality makes him a real charmer. He happily helps out around the farm when encouraged to do so, but his chief joy is simply hanging out with the family. With a very sensitive & seeking-to-please attitude he has been a real pleasure to train and he is happiest frolicking in the backyard with the children, or just lying down nearby keeping an eye on everyone. You can often find him performing his favorite trick of balancing on his hind legs begging for some love from innocent bystanders with his irresistible puppy-dog eyes. Definitely one of our favorite dogs we’ve ever owned, he quickly works his way into everyone’s heart!  Rascal is a Red Headed Tri Color, is DM Clear and vWD clear and sports a lovely soft show coat.

Rascal’s name was inspired by a section in Mary Gay Sargent’s book “The Complete Pembroke Welsh Corgi”,  in which she states:

“…In the South of Wales, a common endearment, Y Corgi Bach, means ‘you little rascal’. Knowing how the Corgi delights in being a lovable, little rascal, it is not surprising that ‘corgi’ and ‘rascal’ came to be colloquial synonyms…”
